About this song:

This song was written in 2005 and originally released on one of my solo albums titled "If This Is All We Are..." I wrote this song after hearing that a friend of mine, who I hadn't talked to in like 6 months, was getting married. I wanted to write a song about the regret of never telling someone how you feel while also realizing the selfishness of wanting to get that off your chest and just wanting them to know that you want them be happy.

Also, the original version of this song's second line is "But I can't help but feel like I have to" Somehow when recording this version I totally forgot that line and just skipped over it and didn't realize it until everything was all mixed and ready to go.
