About this song:

I wrote this song in 2003 (maybe '04). I originally released it on my first self-released solo album "You Are Here" and was originally titled "San Francisco" I have a love-hate relationship with this song. Over the last 15 years, I have re-recorded this song probably 4 times. Take away the lyrics and I love it. I think it was the first song that I ever wrote that I actually was proud of. I hate the lyrics, or at least how the lyrics come across to me. I am able to admit now that I was in fact obsessed. I’d like to believe that over the past 15 or so years I have changed and grown into a better more self-aware person.
